It’s no secret that I absolutely love Daytrotter. It’s one of my favorite sources for unique and alternative recordings. Every week they post new and exciting stuff that I simply need to check out. In other words, it’s one of those musical drugs you’ll get highly addicted to!
Next week I’ll travel to Gothenburg in Sweden to participate in this year’s Way Out West festival. Inspired by a blog presenting Daytrotter session featured at Lollapalooza, I went into the Daytrotter archives to dig out the acts that will perform at Way Out West. I already knew a few existed, but I quickly saw that I had plenty of more stuff to check out in time for next week.
So here we go. If I should recommend some of ones listed below it would be the sessions of Fleet Foxes, Okkervil River and Twin Shadow. But since all Daytrotter sessions are absolutely free (!!!), just go ahead and download all of them while you’re at it!
