TOTEM 9000

TOTEM 9000 is a monthly event starting out this December at 1000Fryd in Aalborg. Chiefs of selected cultural venues will travel to unknown territory (other venues) in Aalborg and initiate a debate about the development of cultural life in Aalborg. At this first event, Mads Mulvad and Lars Hellerup from the Student House will travel to 1000Fryd and partake in a night of interviews and debate about the current status and future of alternative culture in Aalborg.

In 2011, TOTEM 9000 will travel – with new chiefs leading the way every time – between venues in town. I participate as a part of nitusind.nu and by helping out with “chief photo shoots” for coming events. Not long ago I posted a photo of Mads and Lars, and various photos from that day (and the many to come) will be used for creative press material for the TOTEM 9000 events.

Stay updated via the event on Facebook.

Transformator Poster

A couple of weeks ago I helped out the good people at Transformator with their new poster/programme/flyer hybrid. Various of head shots were captured in one afternoon at Gl. Torv in Aalborg. I really like the final result and look forward to some great times at Transformator this season!

Make sure to stop by Transformator’s own website.

Sara’s Stop-motion Project

Stop-motion shot

Today I’m helping out my girlfriend Sara and her group on a uni project. They have planned a stop-motion ad to promote uni and we’ve are shooting it at Kroghstræde 3. The Canon 7D and its ridiculously fast shutter speed makes it a lot of fun and a great way to get to know my new camera.

The picture above is from the prop rehearsals yesterday.

Vesterå Night Club // 13.03.2010

I experienced with some alternative light sources from my flash. Tried to bring the exposure mainly in the faces of people in order to make a dark-blue tone surrounding the point of focus. Quite the task with all sorts of weird ambient lighting at Vesterå :) I think it worked out pretty well and gave a result resembling the night’s atmosphere. Check out the photos at Flickr. What do you think?
