I took one of those modern “photo of yourself in a mirror” kind of photos.

I’m India for a week to work on a project for Dansk Supermarked. Mahindra City near Chennai on the east coast is the place and it’s waaarm!

Will be updating Flickr throughout the week.

Woke up next to this view this morning. Not bad at all.

Essential is me describing stuff I use a lot.

IFTTT is a web service that lets you create a conditional relationship (called ‘recipes’) between two apps or services. It’s actually not a service I “use” per se, but it connects various sites in useful combinations behind the scenes.

I use IFTTT for s series of things. My favorite photos on Instagram are saved in a Dropbox folder. My starred items in Google Reader are sent to Instapaper. When I’m tagged in a photo on Facebook, it’s saved in a Dropbox folder. My tweets are saved in a log in Evernote. Favorite tweets are sent to Pinboard. Links I tag with ‘read later’ on Pinboard are sent to Instaper. IFTTT has an endless list of possibilities that you can customize any way you’d like. You should have a look at how other’s have build their recipes.

I see two main patterns in my use of IFTTT. One is documentation of my whereabouts on social media – tweets and check-ins are logged and compiled. The other is aggregation – interesting articles I would like to read at some point are saved and tagged.

About a month ago, Casper and I went to Svendborg to visit Jakob and his girlfriend Sidsel. I got to know Jakob through the Transformator stage at Aalborg Teater. Jakob now works as the theatre manager at BaggårdTeatret.

Over the next couple of months, I’m participating as a video instructor and photographer alongside Sara and actor Henrik Trenskow in a project for Børns Møde Med Kunsten. Travelling around the northern part of Denmark, we’ll be facilitating workshops for teenagers that’ll produce flashmobs in their local area.
