Last Thursday at Transformator, Trio Trio Trio sang along to the audience’s drawings, improvised songs and healed a guy for eating a slightly old hot dog. Good night.

SOPA Saturday

Last Saturday, I finally had the chance of welcoming Århus-based SOPA to Aalborg and Transformator. Despite the fact that the attendance was limited, it was a cool night with some interesting music. I shot a few photos and put the on and nitusind.nu, plus I wrote a small note about it as well.

Slam 9000

‘Slam 9000′ is a local poetry slam contest at Transformator. This year, a couple of new guys competed against last year’s champ and a couple of other experienced poets. All in all, an exciting night with many different approaches to poetry and performance art in general. Last week and photos

The beginning of the 9th semester, launching What’s Aalborg? and making sure that all the buddies and international students got along great on the 1st of September postponed the uploading of the pictures I went to shoot during the week.

Actually, the first set of photos are from the weekend before last week, but involved both “Chill i parken” (a sort casual, laid back event in the western part of Aalborg by the old BMX tracks) and the final party of the week-long visual arts festival Liquid Borderland at Platform4 by the harbour in the eastern part of town.

Thursday last week, I was invited to the opening of Transformator’s third season and shot some photos of “3. stop fra Gug” and the rapper Luxshan. It was a great evening and I really look forward to the complete transformation of that place.

Busy times, time’s busy. I’m glad you still have time to check out some of my work. I just about to head to Vesteraa for a night of DJ clubbing and the Miller Floor Control contest. Will post a links for some photos when I get them processed in the coming days!

Transformator iPod Mayhem

There’s always something crazy going on at Transformator on Thursday nights. Avoid making an exception, everybody was invited to the annual iPod Battle this Thursday and a battle it was! With blood, sweat, neon sticks and sausages (?) in the air, eight teams fought to claim the title as this year’s Transformator iPod Battle Champions. Again, to avoid making an exception, I shot some photos. You can find some over at nitusind.nu, but go to the Flickr set to find even more photos!
