I’m in the midst of my first three-week internship (out of three) at an Århus-based company called Lærdansk. Lærdansk is a group of language centres in Denmark offering Danish language courses to foreigners. I’m working in a group of four and we are currently working on improving the online communication of Lærdansk’s online element Netdansk, which is a service offering Danish courses online. You can read a some reflections of week one and the just finished week two over at my Information Architecture portofolio, Mathies and IA. This coming week will be our final week of designing and analysing before heading back to the university for a week of reflections and heavy, academic thinking. After this, internship part two will be iniated and I’ll return with more information about that in due time.

International Night
February 4, 2009 – 5:04 pm
Today is the first International Wednesday of the spring semester, which means that the Student House will be packed with students from all over the world! This Monday, at the Meet Your Buddy! night, we encouraged the buddies to join the international students for this first night of international mayhem, so tonight will probably be extra packed!
International Night is a reoccurring event every Wednesday throughout the semester. There’s no entrance fee and the beer is cheap – just what poor students want! I might be able to drop by early tonight to say hi and show the buddy face, but later I have to cross the street and attend Realia at Transformator.
