I think I could probably attend a concert with Lorenzo Woodrose every weekend for a very long time. He’s a brilliant musician, knows how to jam out and is the man behind some of the most amazing lyrics of newer Danish rock history. Read a small review of last night’s concert over at nitusind.nu (in Danish, sorry).

Improv theatre

On Thursday I had the pleasure of shooting some photos for the local improv theatre group “3. Stop Fra Gug” and I really like the outcome of that night. For the first time, I was able to use my 55-250mm lense for something else than concert photography, which was a pleasure! You can see the photos at nitusind.nu and at Flickr.

Thursday Night Rocking

I was at the local Student House for a concert with the two American rock’n'roll bands Nashville Pussy and Supersuckers this Thursday night. A small review (in Danish, unfortunately) came out of that crazy experience. Unfortunately, SLR cameras were (stupidly) not allowed, which is why I don’t have any pictures attached to this post. I’ll promise to be back with some photos on Saturday when RJD2 (support by Den Sorte Skole) has played at the exact same Student House. Looking very much forward to that concert! Last time Den Sorte Skole played at the Student House, the café was packed, so RJD2+Den Sorte Skole will surely prove to be a deadly combo for Aalborg this weekend!

Mid week busyness and business

Tuesday: NoEL seminar on user-driven innovation and design
Wednesday: På Herrens Mark II – entrepreneur conference on digital marketing
Thursday: The 8th Danish HCI Research Symposium

Unfortunately, everything’s in Danish, but I’m sure I’ll be able to enjoy it anyway…

Tuesday is actually the day I look forward to the most, as I also have a meeting at the Aalborg Council’s IT department together with my project group. We are iniating our 7th semi-project this week, so hopefully we’ll establish a fruitful collaboration with the local council. Also, the NoEL seminar is focused around the work of one of the founders of my study programme, Ellen Christiansen, who’ll be leading the debate on how to manage and practice user-driven innovation.

Acid Mothers Temple review and pictures

Last night I lost my hearing/herring as I went to Studenterhuset to experience a trip down Psychedelia Lane together with Acid Mothers Temple. I expected it to be loud and I sure wasn’t dissapointed! I wrote a small review of the concert over at nitusind.nu in Danish and I took some pictures as well. Almost everybody can see the pictures, so if you can’t, you wouldn’t be able to read this post.
