SOPA Saturday

Last Saturday, I finally had the chance of welcoming Århus-based SOPA to Aalborg and Transformator. Despite the fact that the attendance was limited, it was a cool night with some interesting music. I shot a few photos and put the on and nitusind.nu, plus I wrote a small note about it as well.

I think I could probably attend a concert with Lorenzo Woodrose every weekend for a very long time. He's a brilliant musician, knows how to jam out and is the man behind some of the most amazing lyrics of newer Danish rock history. Last week and photos

The beginning of the 9th semester, launching What's Aalborg? and making sure that all the buddies and international students got along great on the 1st of September postponed the uploading of the pictures I went to shoot during the week.

Actually, the first set of photos are from the weekend before last week, but involved both "Chill i parken" (a sort casual, laid back event in the western part of Aalborg by the old BMX tracks) and the final party of the week-long visual arts festival Liquid Borderland at Platform4 by the harbour in the eastern part of town.

Thursday last week, I was invited to the opening of Transformator's third season and shot some photos of "3. stop fra Gug" and the rapper Luxshan. It was a great evening and I really look forward to the complete transformation of that place.

Busy times, time's busy. I'm glad you still have time to check out some of my work. I just about to head to Vesteraa for a night of DJ clubbing and the Miller Floor Control contest. Will post a links for some photos when I get them processed in the coming days!

Tinnitus i hjärtat

Last night I was at Studenterhuset shooting the first concert of Bob Hund's Danish tour. The band seemed really excited about playing and lead singer Thomas Öberg was in a splendid mood on the front of the stage! I shot some photos for nitusind.nu and actually also for a review of the concert for the national music magazine Gaffa. This is my first time published in Gaffa, since not that many concerts in Aalborg is reviewed by that magazine (or any national magazines for that matter).
